那时，攻击亚利伊勒列国的群众，就是一切攻击亚利伊勒和她的保障，并使她困难的，必如梦景，如夜间的异象。
赛29:8
as when a hungry man dreams that he is eating, but he , and his remains; as when a man dreams that he is drinking, but he faint, with his . So will it be with the of all the nations that fight against .
又必像饥饿的人梦中吃饭，醒了仍觉腹空；或像口渴的人梦中喝水，醒了仍觉发昏，心里想喝。攻击锡安山列国的群众也必如此。
赛29:9
Be and , blind yourselves and be ; be drunk, but not from wine, , but not from beer.
你们等候惊奇吧！你们宴乐昏迷吧！他们醉了，却非因酒；他们东倒西歪，却非因浓酒。
赛29:10

因为耶和华将沉睡的灵浇灌你们，封闭你们的眼，蒙盖你们的头。你们的眼就是先知，你们的头就是先见。

主说：“因为这百姓亲近我，用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我；他们敬畏我，不过是领受人的吩咐。
赛29:14

你们把事颠倒了，岂可看窑匠如泥吗？被制作的物岂可论制作物的说“他没有制作我”？或是被创造的物论造物的说“他没有聪明”？
赛29:17
In a very short time, will not be turned into a field and the field seem like a forest?
黎巴嫩变为肥田，肥田看如树林，不是只有一点点时候吗？
赛29:18
In that day will hear the words of the , and out of and darkness the will see.
那时，聋子必听见这书上的话；瞎子的眼必从迷蒙黑暗中得以看见。
赛29:19
Once more the will the LORD; will the Holy One of Israel.
谦卑人必因耶和华增添欢喜；人间贫穷的必因以色列的圣者快乐。
赛29:20

因为强暴人已归无有，亵慢人已经灭绝；一切找机会作孽的都被剪除。
赛29:21

他们在争讼的事上，定无罪的为有罪，为城门口责备人的设下网罗，用虚无的事屈枉义人。
赛29:22
