撒下15:1
In the course of time, provided himself with a and horses and with fifty men to run ahead of him.
此后，押沙龙为自己预备车马，又派五十人在他前头奔走。
撒下15:2
He would get up early and stand by the side of the road leading to the city gate. Whenever anyone came with a complaint to be placed before the king for a decision, would call out to him, "What town are you from?" He would answer, "Your servant is from one of the tribes of Israel."

Then would say to him, "Look, your claims are valid and proper, but there is no representative of the king to hear you."

And would add, "If only I were appointed judge in the land! Then everyone who has a complaint or case could come to me and I would see that he gets justice."
押沙龙又说：“恨不得我作国中的士师，凡有争讼求审判的，到我这里来，我必秉公判断。”
撒下15:5
Also, whenever anyone approached him before him, would reach out his hand, take hold of him and kiss him.
若有人近前来要拜押沙龙，押沙龙就伸手拉住他，与他亲嘴。
撒下15:6
Absalom this way toward all the who came to the king asking for justice, and so he stole the hearts of the men of Israel.

大卫就对耶路撒冷跟随他的臣仆说：“我们要起来逃走，不然都不能躲避押沙龙了。要速速地去，恐怕他忽然来到，加害于我们，用刀杀尽合城的人。”

以太对王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓，又敢在王面前起誓：无论生死，王在哪里，仆人也必在那里。”

撒下15:26
But if he says,'I am not pleased with you,' then I am ready; let him do to me whatever seems good to him."
倘若他说：'我不喜悦你'，看哪！我在这里，愿他凭自己的意旨待我。”
撒下15:27
The king also said to the priest, "Aren't you a ? Go back to the city in peace, with your son and son of . You and take your two sons with you.

But if you return to the city and say to Absalom,'I will be your servant, O king; I was your father's servant in the past, but now I will be your servant,' then you can help me by Ahithophel's advice.
你若回城去，对押沙龙说：'王啊，我愿作你的仆人。我向来作你父亲的仆人，现在我也照样作你的仆人。'这样，你就可以为我破坏亚希多弗的计谋。
