"Go to bed and ill," said. "When your father comes to see you, say to him,'I would like my sister to come and give me something to eat. Let her prepare the food in my sight so I may watch her and then eat it from her hand.'"
约拿达说：“你不如躺在床上装病，你父亲来看你，就对他说：'求父叫我妹子她玛来，在我眼前预备食物，递给我吃，使我看见，好从她手里接过来吃。'”

So Amnon lay down and ill. When the king came to see him, Amnon said to him, "I would like my sister to come and make some special my sight, so I may eat from her hand."
于是暗嫩躺卧装病。王来看他，他对王说：“求父叫我妹子她玛来，在我眼前为我做两个饼，我好从她手里接过来吃。”

David sent word to Tamar at the palace: "Go to the house of your brother Amnon and prepare some food for him."
大卫就打发人到宫里，对她玛说：“你往你哥哥暗嫩的屋里去，为他预备食物。”

So Tamar went to the house of her brother Amnon, who was lying down. She took some , it, made the his sight and baked it.
他玛就到她哥哥暗嫩的屋里，暗嫩正躺卧。他玛抟面，在他眼前作饼，且烤熟了，

Then she took the pan and served him the bread, but he refused to eat. "Send everyone out of here," Amnon said. So everyone left him.
在他面前，将饼从锅里倒出来。他却不肯吃，便说：“众人离开我出去吧！”众人就都离开他出去了。

Then Amnon said to Tamar, "Bring the food here into my bedroom so I may eat from your hand." And Tamar took the bread she had prepared and brought it to her brother Amnon in his bedroom.
暗嫩对他玛说：“你把食物拿进卧房，我好从你手里接过来吃。”他玛就把所作的饼拿进卧房，到她哥哥暗嫩那里，

But when she took it to him to eat, he grabbed her and said, "Come to bed with me, my sister."
拿着饼上前给他吃。他便拉住她玛说：“我妹妹，你来与我同寝。”

"Don't, my brother!" she said to him. "Don't force me. Such a thing should not be done in Israel! Don't do this thing.
他玛说：“我哥哥，不要玷辱我。以色列人中不当这样行，你不要作这丑事。
撒下13:13
What about me? Where could I my ? And what about you? You would be like one of the fools in Israel. Please speak to the king; he will not keep me from being married to you."
你玷辱了我，我何以掩盖我的羞耻呢？你在以色列中也成了愚妄人。你可以求王，他必不禁止我归你。”
撒下13:14
But he refused to listen to her, and since he was stronger than she, he raped her.
但暗嫩不肯听她的话，因比她力大，就玷辱她，与她同寝。

Then Amnon hated her with intense . In fact, he hated her more than he had loved her. Amnon said to her, "Get up and get out!"

He called his personal servant and said, "Get this woman out of here and after her."

So his servant put her out and after her. She was wearing a , for this was the kind of daughters of the king wore.
那时她玛穿着彩衣，因为没有出嫁的公主都是这样穿。暗嫩的仆人就把她赶出去，关门上闩。

Tamar put on her head and tore the she was wearing. She put her hand on her head and went away, as she went.

Her brother said to her, "Has that Amnon, your brother, been with you? Be quiet now, my sister; he is your brother. Don't take this thing to heart." And Tamar lived in her brother Absalom's house, a woman.
她胞兄押沙龙问她说：“莫非你哥哥暗嫩与你亲近了吗？我妹妹，暂且不要作声；他是你的哥哥，不要将这事放在心上。”他玛就孤孤单单地住在她胞兄押沙龙家里。

When King David heard all this, he was .
大卫王听见这事，就甚发怒。

Then Absalom said, "If not, please let my brother Amnon come with us." The king asked him, "Why should he go with you?"
押沙龙说：“王若不去，求王许我哥哥暗嫩同去。”王说：“何必要他去呢？”
撒下13:27
But Absalom urged him, so he sent with him Amnon and the rest of the king's sons.
押沙龙再三求王，王就许暗嫩和王的众子与他同去。
撒下13:28
Absalom ordered his men, "Listen! When Amnon is in high spirits from drinking wine and I say to you,'Strike Amnon down,' then kill him. Don't be afraid. Have not I given you this order? Be strong and brave."
押沙龙吩咐仆人说：“你们注意，看暗嫩饮酒畅快的时候，我对你们说：'杀暗嫩'，你们便杀他，不要惧怕。这不是我吩咐你们的吗？你们只管壮胆奋勇。”

So Absalom's men did to Amnon what Absalom had ordered. Then all the king's sons got up, mounted their and fled.
押沙龙的仆人就照押沙龙所吩咐的，向暗嫩行了。王的众子都起来，各人骑上骡子，逃跑了。

While they were on their way, the report came to David: "Absalom has struck down all the king's sons; not one of them is left."
他们还在路上，有风声传到大卫那里说：“押沙龙将王的众子都杀了，没有留下一个。”

The king stood up, tore his clothes and lay down on the ground; and all his servants stood by with their clothes torn.
