But the priest answered David, "I don't have any ordinary bread on hand; however, there is some bread here -- provided the men have kept themselves from women."
祭司对大卫说：“我手下没有寻常的饼，只有圣饼，若少年人没有亲近妇人才可以给。”
撒上21:5
David replied, "Indeed women have been kept from us, as usual whenever I set out. The men's things are holy even on missions that are not holy. How much more so today!"
大卫对祭司说：“实在约有三日我们没有亲近妇人。我出来的时候，虽是寻常行路，少年人的器皿还是洁净的；何况今日不更是洁净吗？”
撒上21:6
So the priest gave him the bread, since there was no bread there except the bread of the Presence that had been removed from before the LORD and replaced by hot bread on the day it was taken away.
祭司就拿圣饼给他，因为在那里没有别样饼，只有更换新饼，从耶和华面前撤下来的陈设饼。

Now one of Saul's servants was there that day, before the LORD; he was the , Saul's head .

The priest replied, " of the , whom you killed in the Valley of , is here; it is wrapped in a cloth behind the . If you want it, take it; there is no sword here but that one." David said, "There is none like it; give it to me."
祭司说：“你在以拉谷杀非利士人歌利亚的那刀在这里，裹在布中，放在以弗得后边，你要就可以拿去。除此以外，再没有别的。”大卫说：“这刀没有可比的！求你给我。”
