士10:1
After the time of Abimelech a man of Issachar, Tola son of Puah, the son of Dodo, rose to save Israel. He lived in Shamir, in the hill country of Ephraim.
亚比米勒以后，有以萨迦人朵多的孙子，普瓦的儿子陀拉兴起，拯救以色列人。他住在以法莲山地的沙密。


士10:2
He led Israel twenty-three years; then he died, and was buried in Shamir.
陀拉作以色列的士师二十三年就死了，葬在沙密。


士10:3
He was followed by Jair of Gilead, who led Israel twenty-two years.
在他以后有基列人睚珥兴起，作以色列的士师二十二年。


士10:4
He had thirty sons, who rode thirty donkeys. They controlled thirty towns in Gilead, which to this day are called Havvoth Jair.
他有三十个儿子，骑着三十匹驴驹。他们有三十座城邑，叫作哈倭特睚珥，直到如今，都是在基列地。


士10:5
When Jair died, he was buried in Kamon.
睚珥死了，就葬在加们。


士10:6
Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD. They served the Baals and the Ashtoreths, and the gods of Aram, the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, the gods of the Ammonites and the gods of the Philistines. And because the Israelites forsook the LORD and no longer served him,
以色列人又行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，去事奉诸巴力和亚斯她录，并亚兰的神、西顿的神、摩押的神、亚扪人的神、非利士人的神，离弃耶和华，不事奉他。


士10:7
he became angry with them. He sold them into the hands of the Philistines and the Ammonites,
耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，就把他们交在非利士人和亚扪人的手中。


士10:8
who that year shattered and crushed them. For eighteen years they oppressed all the Israelites on the east side of the Jordan in Gilead, the land of the Amorites.
从那年起，他们扰害欺压约旦河那边、住亚摩利人之基列地的以色列人，共有十八年。


士10:9
The Ammonites also crossed the Jordan to fight against Judah, Benjamin and the house of Ephraim; and Israel was in great distress.
亚扪人又渡过约旦河去攻打犹大和便雅悯，并以法莲族。以色列人就甚觉窘迫。


士10:10
Then the Israelites cried out to the LORD, "We have sinned against you, forsaking our God and serving the Baals."
以色列人哀求耶和华说：“我们得罪了你，因为离弃了我们 神，去事奉诸巴力。”


士10:11
The LORD replied, "When the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,
耶和华对以色列人说：“我岂没有救过你们脱离埃及人、亚摩利人、亚扪人和非利士人吗？


士10:12
the Sidonians, the Amalekites and the Maonites oppressed you and you cried to me for help, did I not save you from their hands?
西顿人、亚玛力人、马云人也都欺压你们。你们哀求我，我也拯救你们脱离他们的手。


士10:13
But you have forsaken me and served other gods, so I will no longer save you.
你们竟离弃我，事奉别 神！所以我不再救你们了。


士10:14
Go and cry out to the gods you have chosen. Let them save you when you are in trouble!"
你们去哀求所选择的神，你们遭遇急难的时候，让他救你们吧！”


士10:15
But the Israelites said to the LORD, "We have sinned. Do with us whatever you think best, but please rescue us now."
以色列人对耶和华说：“我们犯罪了，任凭你随意待我们吧！只求你今日拯救我们。”


士10:16
Then they got rid of the foreign gods among them and served the LORD. And he could bear Israel's misery no longer.
以色列人就除掉他们中间的外邦 神，事奉耶和华。耶和华因以色列人受的苦难，就心中担忧。


士10:17
When the Ammonites were called to arms and camped in Gilead, the Israelites assembled and camped at Mizpah.
当时，亚扪人聚集，安营在基列。以色列人也聚集，安营在米斯巴。


士10:18
The leaders of the people of Gilead said to each other, "Whoever will launch the attack against the Ammonites will be the head of all those living in Gilead."
基列的民和众首领彼此商议说：“谁能先去攻打亚扪人，谁必作基列一切居民的领袖。”
