创19:1
The two angels arrived at in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and with his face to the ground.
那两个天使晚上到了所多玛。罗得正坐在所多玛城门口，看见他们，就起来迎接，脸伏于地下拜，
创19:2
"My lords," he said, "please turn aside to your servant's house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning." "No," they answered, "we will spend the night in the square."
说：“我主啊，请你们到仆人家里洗洗脚，住一夜，清早起来再走。”他们说：“不！我们要在街上过夜。”
创19:3
But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, without , and they ate.
罗得切切地请他们，他们这才进去到他屋里。罗得为他们预备筵席，烤无酵饼，他们就吃了。
创19:4
Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of -- both young and old -- surrounded the house.
他们还没有躺下，所多玛城里各处的人，连老带少，都来围住那房子，

They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."
呼叫罗得说：“今日晚上到你这里来的人在哪里呢？把他们带出来，任我们所为。”
创19:6
Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him
罗得出来，把门关上，到众人那里，
创19:7
and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this thing.
说：“众弟兄，请你们不要作这恶事。
创19:8
Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don't do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof."
我有两个女儿，还是处女，容我领出来任凭你们的心愿而行，只是这两个人既然到我舍下，不要向他们作什么。”
创19:9
"Get out of our way," they replied. And they said, "This fellow came here as an alien, and now he wants to play the judge! We'll treat you worse than them." They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.
众人说：“退去吧！”又说：“这个人来寄居，还想要作官哪！现在我们要害你比害他们更甚。”众人就向前拥挤罗得，要攻破房门。
创19:10
But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door.
只是那二人伸出手来，将罗得拉进屋去，把门关上，
创19:11
Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with so that they could not find the door.
并且使门外的人，无论老少，眼都昏迷；他们摸来摸去，总寻不着房门。
创19:12
The two men said to Lot, "Do you have anyone else here -- sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here,
二人对罗得说：“你这里还有什么人吗？无论是女婿，是儿女和这城中一切属你的人，你都要将他们从这地方带出去。
创19:13
because we are going to destroy this place. The to the LORD against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it."
我们要毁灭这地方，因为城内罪恶的声音在耶和华面前甚大，耶和华差我们来，要毁灭这地方。”
创19:14
So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters. He said, "Hurry and get out of this place, because the LORD is about to destroy the city!" But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.
罗得就出去，告诉娶了他女儿的女婿们（“娶了”或作“将要娶”），说：“你们起来离开这地方，因为耶和华要毁灭这城。”他女婿们却以为他说的是戏言。
创19:15
With the coming of , the angels urged Lot, saying, "Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be when the city is punished."
天明了，天使催逼罗得说：“起来！带着你的妻子和你在这里的两个女儿出去，免得你因这城里的罪恶同被剿灭。”
创19:16
When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the LORD was to them.
但罗得迟延不走。二人因为耶和华怜恤罗得，就拉着他的手和他妻子的手，并他两个女儿的手，把他们领出来，安置在城外；
创19:17
As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, " your lives! Don't look back, and don't stop anywhere in ! the mountains or you will be !"
领他们出来以后，就说：“逃命吧！不可回头看，也不可在平原站住，要往山上逃跑，免得你被剿灭。”
创19:18
But Lot said to them, "No, my lords, please!
罗得对他们说：“我主啊，不要如此！
创19:19
Your servant has found favor in your eyes, and you have shown great to me in sparing my life. But I can't the mountains; this disaster will me, and I'll die.
你仆人已经在你眼前蒙恩，你又向我显出莫大的慈爱，救我的性命，我不能逃到山上去，恐怕这灾祸临到我，我便死了。
创19:20
Look, here is a town near enough to run to, and it is small. Let me it -- it is very small, isn't it? Then my life will be spared."
看哪！这座城又小又近，容易逃到，这不是一个小的吗？求你容我逃到那里，我的性命就得存活。”
创19:21
He said to him, "Very well, I will grant this request too; I will not the town you speak of.
天使对他说：“这事我也应允你，我不倾覆你所说的这城。
创19:22
But flee there quickly, because I cannot do anything until you reach it." (That is why the town was called .)
你要速速地逃到那城，因为你还没有到那里，我不能作什么。”因此那城名叫琐珥（就是“小”的意思）。
创19:23
By the time Lot reached , the sun had risen over the land.
罗得到了琐珥，日头已经出来了。

Then the LORD rained down burning on -- from the LORD out of the heavens.

But Lot's wife looked back, and she became a .

Early the next morning got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the LORD.
亚伯拉罕清早起来，到了他从前站在耶和华面前的地方，

向所多玛和蛾摩拉与平原的全地观看，不料，那地方烟气上腾，如同烧窑一般。

So when God destroyed the cities of , he remembered , and he brought Lot out of the that the cities where Lot had lived.
当 神毁灭平原诸城的时候，他记念亚伯拉罕，正在倾覆罗得所住之城的时候，就打发罗得从倾覆之中出来。

Lot and his two daughters left and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in . He and his two daughters lived in a cave.
罗得因为怕住在琐珥，就同他两个女儿，从琐珥上去住在山里；他和两个女儿住在一个洞里。

One day the older daughter said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is no man around here to lie with us, as is the custom all over the earth.
大女儿对小女儿说：“我们的父亲老了，地上又无人按着世上的常规进到我们这里。
创19:32
Let's get our father to drink wine and then lie with him and preserve our family line through our father."
来！我们可以叫父亲喝酒，与他同寝。这样，我们好从他存留后裔。”
创19:33
That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and lay with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.
于是，那夜她们叫父亲喝酒，大女儿就进去和她父亲同寝。她几时躺下，几时起来，父亲都不知道。
创19:34
The next day the older daughter said to the younger, "Last night I lay with my father. Let's get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and lie with him so we can preserve our family line through our father."
第二天，大女儿对小女儿说：“我昨夜与父亲同寝，今夜我们再叫他喝酒，你可以进去与他同寝。这样，我们好从父亲存留后裔。”
创19:35
So they got their father to drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went and lay with him. Again he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.
于是，那夜她们又叫父亲喝酒，小女儿起来与她父亲同寝。她几时躺下，几时起来，父亲都不知道。
创19:36
So both of Lot's daughters became pregnant by their father.
这样，罗得的两个女儿都从她父亲怀了孕。
