These are now the chief of their fathers, and this is the of them that went up with me from , the king.

拉8:17
And I sent them with the chief at the place , and I told them what they should say , and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place , that they should bring us ministers for the house of our God.

拉8:18
And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of , the son of , the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;
蒙我们 神施恩的手帮助我们，他们在以色列的曾孙、利未的孙子、抹利的后裔中带一个通达人来；还有示利比和他的众子与弟兄共一十八人；

拉8:21
Then I a fast there, at the river of , that we might ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.
那时，我在亚哈瓦河边宣告禁食，为要在我们 神面前克苦己心，求他使我们和妇人孩子并一切所有的，都得平坦的道路。
拉8:22
For I was to require of the king a band of soldiers and to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his is against all them that him.
我求王拨步兵马兵帮助我们抵挡路上的仇敌，本以为羞耻，因我曾对王说：“我们 神施恩的手，必帮助一切寻求他的；但他的能力和忿怒，必攻击一切离弃他的。”
拉8:23
So we fasted and our God for this: and he was of us.
所以我们禁食祈求我们的 神，他就应允了我们。
拉8:24
Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, , and ten of their brethren with them,
我分派祭司长十二人，就是示利比、哈沙比雅和他们的弟兄十人，
拉8:25
And weighed them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his , and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:
将王和谋士、军长并在那里的以色列众人，为我们神殿所献的金银和器皿，都秤了交给他们。
拉8:26
I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;
我秤了交在他们手中的银子有六百五十他连得，银器重一百他连得；金子一百他连得，
拉8:27
Also twenty of gold, of a thousand ; and two vessels of , precious as gold.
金碗二十个，重一千达利克；上等光铜的器皿两个，宝贵如金。
拉8:28
And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.
我对他们说：“你们归耶和华为圣，器皿也为圣；金银是甘心献给耶和华你们列祖之神的。
拉8:29
Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the , and chief of the fathers of Israel, at , in the chambers of the house of the LORD.
你们当警醒看守，直到你们在耶路撒冷耶和华殿的库内，在祭司长和利未族长，并以色列的各族长面前过了秤。”
拉8:30
So took the priests and the the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to unto the house of our God.
于是，祭司、利未人按着分量接受金银和器皿，要带到耶路撒冷我们 神的殿里。
拉8:31
Then we the river of on day of the first month, to go unto : and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.
正月十二日，我们从亚哈瓦河边起行，要往耶路撒冷去。我们 神的手保佑我们，救我们脱离仇敌和路上埋伏之人的手。
拉8:32
And we came to , and there three days.
我们到了耶路撒冷，在那里住了三日。

Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels the house of our God by the hand of the son of the priest; and with him was the son of ; and with them was the son of , and the son of Binnui, ;
第四日，在我们 神的殿里把金银和器皿都秤了，交在祭司乌利亚的儿子米利末的手中，同着他有非尼哈的儿子以利亚撒，还有利未人耶书亚的儿子约撒拔和宾内的儿子挪亚底。
拉8:34
By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.
当时都点了数目，按着分量写在册上。
拉8:35
Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of , offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve for all Israel, ninety and six , seventy and seven , twelve he for offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.
从掳到之地归回的人向以色列的 神献燔祭，就是为以色列众人献公牛十二只，公绵羊九十六只，绵羊羔七十七只，又献公山羊十二只作赎罪祭，这都是向耶和华焚献的。
拉8:36
And they delivered the king's commissions unto the king's , and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.
他们将王的谕旨交给王所派的总督与河西的省长，他们就帮助百姓，又供给神殿里所需用的。
