代上21:1
And stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.

So came to David, and said him, Thus the LORD, Choose
于是迦得来见大卫，对他说：“耶和华如此说：'你可以随意选择：
代上21:12
Either three years' ; or three months to be destroyed before , while that of enemies thee; or else three days of the LORD, even the , in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
或三年的饥荒；或败在你敌人面前，被敌人的刀追杀三个月；或在你国中有耶和华的刀，就是三日的瘟疫，耶和华的使者在以色列的四境施行毁灭。'现在你要想一想，我好回覆那差我来的。”

And David said unto , I am in a great : let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his : but let me not fall into the hand of man.
大卫对迦得说：“我甚为难，我愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”

So the LORD sent upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men.

And David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father's house; but not on people, that they should be .

Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshingfloor, that I may build an unto the LORD: grant it me for the full price: that may be stayed from the people.
大卫对阿珥楠说：“你将这禾场与相连之地卖给我，我必给你足价，我好在其上为耶和华筑一座坛，使民间的瘟疫止住。”
代上21:23
And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the also for burnt offerings, and the instruments for wood, and the for the meat offering; I give it all.
阿珥楠对大卫说：“你可以用这禾场，愿我主我王照你所喜悦的去行。我也将牛给你作燔祭，把打粮的器具当柴烧，拿麦子作素祭。这些我都送给你。”
代上21:24
And king David said to Ornan, ; but I will buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
大卫王对阿珥楠说：“不然，我必要用足价向你买，我不用你的物献给耶和华，也不用白得之物献为燔祭。”
代上21:25
So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred of gold by weight.
于是，大卫为那块地平了六百舍客勒金子给阿珥楠。

And David built there an unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the of burnt offering.
